Built for coaching staffs, not gadget collectors

See which athletes need attention before their next hard session.

whooptoclaude turns Whoop CSV exports into one roster view your staff can actually use in a morning meeting — recovery, HRV, sleep debt, and strain trends across every athlete, with a plain-language note on who needs a closer look this week.

Don't you already have the Whoop app for this?

Sort of — here's what it doesn't do

Whoop has its own coach-facing tools (Vector Connect). We're not pretending otherwise. The gap is what happens when you're responsible for a whole roster, not one athlete.

One screen, not fifteen apps

Checking each athlete's own app one at a time doesn't scale past a handful of names. whooptoclaude triages the whole roster by risk on a single screen, built around explicit overreaching signals — baseline drift, training monotony, sleep-debt trend — computed transparently and explained in plain language, not just a recovery percentage.

Start from a CSV, today

Piloting this doesn't require a commercial or API relationship with Whoop — export a CSV from the app or web portal and you're analyzing a roster in minutes. No approval process to start evaluating whether this is useful for your program.

Not permanently tied to one wearable

This is scoped to Whoop today because that's the most requested source from early coach conversations. The roadmap is multi-source — the same rules-based analysis is meant to work across wearables, not lock your program into one vendor.

How it works

From CSV export to roster triage in four steps

No OAuth setup, no data warehouse — this is the fastest path from "I have a Whoop export" to "I know who to check on."

01

Export the data

Athletes or coaches pull a CSV export from the Whoop app or web portal. Whatever the column names look like, whooptoclaude knows how to read them.

02

Upload it once

Drop the file in. Analysis runs on that request only — this demo doesn't persist your file to a database.

03

Rules run first

HRV baselines, resting heart rate drift, sleep debt, and training monotony are computed as objective numbers before anything reaches Claude — the narrative explains the data, it doesn't invent it.

04

Read the roster, not the raw numbers

One screen shows who's balanced and who's on watch, with a plain-language summary — always labeled as trend information, never a diagnosis.

What you get

Two views, one analysis engine

The same rules-based metrics and narrative generator power both the roster dashboard and the individual view — nobody sees a number the other side can't also explain.

Roster dashboard

Every athlete on one screen, sorted by who needs attention first. Click into any name for a full 7-day breakdown without losing your place.

  • Status triage: balanced, watch, monitor, high risk
  • Recovery, HRV, sleep debt, and strain at a glance
  • A roster-level narrative summarizing the whole team

Individual trends

Athletes get their own version of the same analysis — upload a CSV and get a coach-style summary back, no spreadsheet required.

  • Baseline-relative HRV and resting heart rate context
  • Sleep debt accumulation, not just a single bad night
  • Training monotony, the load signal daily strain alone misses

Trend information, never a diagnosis

Claude only ever sees a pre-computed statistical summary — never raw health data — and its system prompt hard-bans diagnosis, medication, and supplement suggestions.

  • Every screen carries the same standing disclaimer
  • Numbers are computed first; the narrative explains them second
  • Built for coaching judgment, not to replace it
Why trust the numbers

Nothing here is dressed up

We'd rather you check these claims than take our word for them.

The math runs before the model does

HRV and resting-heart-rate baselines, the training-monotony score (mean strain divided by its standard deviation), and 7-day sleep-debt windows are computed as plain arithmetic first. Claude is handed those finished numbers and asked to explain them in plain language — it never sees raw data and never generates a number itself.

Deleting your account deletes your data

Raw CSV rows are never stored, on any plan. If you save trend history, it lives in a database used exclusively for this product. Delete your account and that history is actually removed, not archived or flagged — the same day, not "within 30 days."

The disclaimer is the feature

We tell you what changed — HRV dropped, sleep debt is building, strain's been repetitive — not what to do about it medically. That call stays with you, your coaching staff, or a physician. A tool that stayed in its lane is easier to trust with your roster than one that pretends to be a doctor.

Pricing

Simple tiers, priced for how you'll actually use it

Why it's worth using

A single recovery score doesn't say whether today is a fluke or the start of a pattern. Every metric here is checked against your own rolling baseline from your last two to three weeks of data — so when HRV shows up flagged, it means something actually shifted for you, not that you're below some generic population average.

Sleep debt is tracked the same way: as a 7-day rolling average rather than one bad night, so a single late night doesn't set off a false alarm, but a week of accumulating debt does.

Ready to stop re-uploading and comparing old results by memory? An invite-only add-on saves your computed summary after each upload and lets you ask follow-up questions about your own trend — "why did my HRV drop last week" — answered against your real history, same non-medical guardrails. Pricing TBD once it's out of beta.

What scales here

Today's dashboard is one shared roster — this tier is where it grows into team-level rollups across multiple coaches, athlete groups, and seasons. The specifics of that (roster segmentation, staff permissions, data retention) get scoped during onboarding to match how your program is actually structured, rather than assuming a one-size-fits-all setup.

If you're a club or program lead trying to figure out whether this fits before talking to us, start with the Coach demo above — the analysis your staff would use every day is the same engine.
